No Joking Thing, says Sandy Smith
SINGER Sandy Smith is determined to follow her dreams.
She recently released a single, No Joking Thing, which was co-written by Italy-born reggae artiste Alborosie and herself. The track was produced by Alborosie’s Shengen Records label.
Smith encourages young people to pursue their dreams even in the face of hardships.
“Anyone who has dreams, don’t let critics or fear dissuade you,” she says.
Smith, who toured with Alborosie, is no stranger to the local stage.
She placed second in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s Gospel Festival final in 2003 and fifth in Digicel Rising Star talent competition three years ago.
