Holland United are Trelawny FA KO champions
FALMOUTH, Trelawny — Holland United are the new champions of the Trelawny Football Association’s Patrick Atkinson Knock Out after dethroning holders Harmony FC 5-4 in sudden death penalty kicks in the final at the Elliston Wakeland Centre in Falmouth on Thursday.
The teams had played out a 0-0 draw after regulation and extra time and were again tied on 4-4 after the first five penalty kicks were taken.
Colin James scored the winner for Holland, while Gregory James missed his kick.
Earlier in the regular penalties, Gussea Young, Roneil Cole, Donovan Clarke and Oshane Williams scored for Holland, while Delroy Williams, Carlington Johnson, Oshane Spence and Kanardo Wilson hit the target for last year’s champions.
