Men arrested for printing money
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The Manchester police yesterday arrested two men for printing counterfeit money.
Police allege that Tyrone Graham, 28, construction worker of Retreat District, and Dexter Boyne, 26, tiler of Waggon Wheel District, both in the Hatfield area, were caught making fake one thousand dollar bills.
Superintendent Lascelles Taylor of the Manchester Police Division said the police, acting on information, carried out a raid at Graham’s house about 4:15 yesterday afternoon where they were caught.
He said a printer was seized along with $53,000 in counterfeit one thousand dollar notes and $4,700 in real money.
