Inspector Dadrick Henry’s bail revoked
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Inspector Dadrick Henry who was on bail since December 2012 on an assault charge had his bail revoked by the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate’s court Tuesday morning.
Inspector Henry’s bail was revoked by the presiding magistrate on condition that he reports to the Greater Portmore Police Station between 6:00am and 8:00pm daily.
Henry should also make no contact with the complainants, according to the dictate of the court.
He is scheduled to reappear before the court on Thursday, February 21.
Henry was arrested and charged with four counts of conduct tending to pervert the course of public justice in December last year.
It is reported that between February and November last year Henry allegedly interfered with complainants in a matter that was before the court.
A report was made to the Anti-Corruption Branch on November 8, after which an investigation was launched. On completion of the investigation, a file was submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions which ruled that Henry be charged. As a result warrants were prepared for his arrest and executed.
