Police seize M16 magazine in Central Village

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police seized an M16 magazine containing twenty-five rounds in the hills of Windsor Heights at Central Village in St Catherine Sunday night.

Reports are that about 8:55 pm the lawmen were patrolling the area when a group of men opened fire on them, the fire was returned and the men fled. During a subsequent search of the area, the magazine was found.

No one was held or arrested in connection with the seizure.
