JLO’s ex-husband speaks out 12 years later

People Post

With many high-profile romances to her name, you can be forgiven for forgetting the name of Jennifer Lopez’s second husband. Cris Judd was married to the singer for a total of nine months. And the dancer has told New! Magazine that their union, though enjoyable, was damaged by his wife’s frantic workload, and lacked a certain level of closeness.

Speaking of life with the now 43-year-old JLo, he said: “You have to have that balance of work and home life, and you have to have moments of intimacy. Her schedule was strenuous and there wasn’t much downtime. If I wasn’t travelling with her, it was very difficult to have those moments of closeness. Behind closed doors, Jennifer’s a regular girl. But when you’re in demand like that, there are a lot of things you sacrifice. Personal relationships are one of them. Your career can take the front seat and if you don’t have a balance, it’s not going to work out.”

The choreographer was keen to mention that he has moved on from the breakdown of his relationship with Jennifer, which happened over a decade ago. “The time that I had with her was beautiful and it’s something I’ll never forget, but I’m remarried now, so I’m happy,” stated Cris.

The couple met when Cris was hired to direct her video for Love Don’t Cost A Thing in 200. By September they were married and divorced the following June.

Never-before-seen photos of Madonna to be exhibited

Her ’80s street style is iconic, and it looks like Madonna was wearing hooped earrings and bright red lipstick even before she found fame. In never-before-seen images, a 24-year-old Madonna poses up a storm in a series of photos taken just before her ascent to superstardom.

Richard Corman photographed the young Michigan-native in New York City in 1982 — a year before she released her debut eponymous album. These previously hidden images, taken in Madonna’s Lower East Side apartment, are to be displayed for the first time in a new exhibition. Reflecting on the shoot, Corman told ELLE.com: “She leaned on her staircase and greeted me from her walk-up. I saw those cat eyes, and I just knew. There are a few people that have that fierce sense of confidence that she portrayed.” He recalled: “She served me an espresso with a Bazooka bubble gum, I will never forget it.”

The photos will go on show in “MADONNA — A Transformational Exhibition” at various W Hotels throughout New York later this week, and also features photos by Corman’s fellow photographer George DuBose.

Not again, RiRi!

Her stage costumes leave little to the imagination and her current album sleeve features a naked shot with words scrawled over her, but on Saturday. Rihanna added another overexposed picture of herself to Instagram. The 25-year-old was pictured frolicking in a swimming pool wearing nothing but a teeny bikini.

With her back to the camera, the singer had her hair swept up in a dramatic bun and large gold hoop earrings, and her leopard print bikini bottom certainly showed off one of her main assets. The Stay singer and nature lover also tweeted a picture of a new friend that she made poolside — a ladybird, and in another photo, she pulled a face and added the caption ‘Attitude gyal’. The bikini shots, however, might have had a different purpose — to show her boyfriend what he’s missing.Currently separated from her beau Chris Brown while she goes on tour, Brown has recently mentioned how worried he is about the star cheating on him while she’s away.
