Blake, Campbell Brown confirmed for Canada meet

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Jamaican sprinters Yohan Blake and Veronica Campbell Brown have been confirmed for the Edmonton International Track Classic on June 29 at Foote Field, organisers announced this morning.

While IAAF World 100m champion Blake will be returning to the event for a second straight year, it will be Campbell-Brown’s first appearance at a track and field meet in Canada.

Blake, who won double Olympic games sprint silver medals last year, is presently nursing a hamstring injury but is expected to be healthy for the Jamaican Trials set or June 19th -23rd.
