Toyota Ja Ravs up sales
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Toyota Jamaica kicked off their three-month Toyotathon sales event last Saturday at Devon House on St Andrew.
Billed as their biggest sales event ever, it featured a range of popular 2013 Toyota vehicles available at massive discount prices and extra incentives.
“We understand how the economy is now, especially with the devaluing dollar, so we’ve put our best prices forward and partnered with the financial institutions present to encourage people to get behind the wheel of a Toyota,” said Howard Foster, sales and marketing manager at Spanish Town Road-based Toyota Jamaica.
With four banks on hand and interests rates as low as nine per cent, the steady crowd was free to test from the smallest unit, the Yaris, to the luxury of the Prado at their own pace.
Foster pointed out even more reasons for the crowd to own a Toyota.
“Toyota vehicles have an excellent track record in the local market, in terms of being consistently reliable and dependable. Add on top of that, lowest service costs over the life of the vehicle and a high resale value.”
The sporty FT86 was an eye-catcher, but interest in the new RAV4, launched in February, was easily the highest.
“Customers love it. The redesign and new features such as standard nine airbags have gone over well, making it our number one seller,” said Foster.
The Toyotathon will continue until July. The June show will take place in Mandeville and the final in support of their Montego Bay branch. Foster revealed that the next show would have something special.
“Our customers have been clamouring for a larger family vehicle and Toyota Jamaica will be launching the seven-seater Innova in time for our Mandeville show.”
