Getting ready for Food Awards

Jamaica Observer Senior Associate Editor for Lifestyle Novia McDonald Whyte (foreground) briefs students of the University of Technology’s School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM), who will be working at tomorrow’s Observer Food Awards at Devon House in Kingston. Sharing in the moment are head of the SHTM Marilyn Robinson Cornelius (sitting at far right) and Scholarship Officer Pauline Madouri (standing). Forty-five of the university students, including five recipients of Jamaica Observer’s scholarships and bursaries, will volunteer their services at the premier food event. (PHOTO: JOSEPH WELLINGTON)
