Gatlin wins Monaco 100m in 9.94

KINGSTON, Jamaica — American Justin Gatlin won the men’s 100 metre in 9.94 seconds at the Monaco Diamond League on Friday.

Dentarious Locke, also of the United States was second in a personal best 9.96 seconds. France’s Jimmy Vicaut finished third in 9.99 seconds.

Kim Collins of St Kitts and Nevis finished in fifth place with Jamaica’s Kemar Bailey-Cole and Nickel Ashmeade sixth and seventh respectively
