In a special show of appreciation for the continued patronage of their most loyal clients, Salut! partner Victoria Mutual hosted a luncheon at the company’s Half-Way-Tree branch on Thursday last. Catered by the extremely talented Chef Michele Williams of Moveable Feast Caterers — one of 19 caterers who participated in the Jamaica Observer’s Salut! ‘Cater-In’ week from October 28 to November 3 — the meal was indeed a treat for the senses.

The hand-picked group of elite clientele engaged in a riveting discussion which spanned from the fantastic fare of which they partook to the nation’s current financial landscape. The menu, which featured delectable dishes made from home-grown ingredients included Cream of Carrot and Pumpkin Soup served with Garlic Bread, Fresh Garden Salad with Roasted Beets and Feta Cheese drizzled with Balsamic Maple Vinaigrette, Atlantic Salmon encrusted with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Black Olives, Chicken Breast Roma stuffed with Roasted Bell Pepper and Cheese and a decadent Chocolate Cake with Coffee Cream.
