‘Everything is great with them’, claims source close to Will and Jada Pinkett Smith

Last Wednesday potentially damaging photos were published in Star magazine showing actor Will Smith cavorting with his lingerie-clad Focus co-star Margot Robbie in a photo booth. However, it has been claimed there are no problems in Will’s marriage to Jada Pinkett, despite the emergence of the raunchy images. “Everything with them is great,” a source told Us Weekly of the couple, who wed 16 years ago.

The pictures were apparently taken at a wrap party for the movie on the New Orleans set on October 25. “That was a photo booth on set that the producers got for everyone,” an insider said. “It was the last day of filming and everyone was taking pictures. They were just goofing around. Will is just like that. There’s nothing more to it.” A second source added to Us Weekly: “They’re not hooking up.” A further source has claimed to another publication that the photos were taken as part of production of the movie they are starring in together. “These pictures were commissioned by production,” the insider told E! News. “The entire cast and crew saw them taken.”

Jada wasn’t present at the bash when the snaps were allegedly taken on October 25, and was instead speaking at a charity event in Baltimore. Will and Jada haven’t been photographed together since they were in New York City with their children on August 23. Jada also stepped out without her wedding ring on Monday night at a gala in New York City. And last month, the Smiths listed their $42 million Southern California residence after unloading their Hawaiian spread.

Southern Belle of the Ball

They might not have the cool factor of the Grammys or the VMAs, but the southern stars of the Country Music Awards certainly know how to make a glamorous entrance.

Last Wednesday, Taylor Swift appeared to be channelling Scarlett O’Hara in Gone With The Wind as she arrived in a huge red gown. Taylor, who describes the Tennessee city of Nashville as her hometown, was up for six potential accolades and ended up with three.

Taylor also received the Pinnacle award — a gong that is given to artistes who have achieved worldwide success and recognition through concerts and record sales. The only other recipient of the award so far is Garth Brooks. “I can’t think of a better opportunity than ‘Country Music’s Biggest Night’ to present an award of this magnitude to an artiste of this calibre,” said CMA President of the Board Ed Hardy.

The 47th annual CMA Awards were held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and some of the biggest stars of country music were in attendance.

Idris is taken!

British actor and hunk Idris Elba is now officially dating hair and make-up artist Naiyana Garth. The 41-year-old actor was pictured getting cosy with Naiyana at this week’s Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year awards at Claridge’s Hotel in London. And despite the pair only just going public, a source close to the star said the couple have actually been together for several months.

A source told The Sun: “They’ve been together for a few months but it’s really ramped up recently. They get on brilliantly and she’s a real hit with his family and friends. “Idris is known as a ladies’ man but he’s really not at all. He’d rather have banter at the bar than spend all night grafting on women. Although he doesn’t have to try anyway, women flock to him.”

Strangely, as soon as news broke of their romance, Naiyana’s Twitter feed disappeared from the site while her personal web page, Naiyanamakeuphair.com, is now listed as being ‘under construction’. It’s still listed on Google, however, describing Naiyana as ‘a London-based professional hair and make-up artist with extensive experience in Fashion, Film, special effects/prosthetics, Body Painting and Bridal.’

With Idris now getting serious with Naiyana after dating for a few months, this could turn out to be the best time of his life. After starring in two of the hottest TV series on TV, The Wire and Luther, he is now being tipped for an Oscar for his portrayal of Nelson Mandela in the new biopic Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.
