When a ‘rude’ reporter does his job
LAST Thursday when the prime minister ascribed rudeness to the actions of a TVJ reporter holding out a microphone close to her face and asking her a question on a highly controversial national matter, she had finally made what seemed to have been her ultimate desire in 2011– to make the transition from mere prime minister to royalty in a short two years.
Some of us had seen touches of her imperious side in the 2006 to 2007 period, but many shrugged it off and blamed it on the slow ascent of her learning curve in handling what had to be one of the toughest jobs in Jamaica.
