JRC disciplinary actions
The following are the disciplinary actions taken by the stewards of the Jamaica Racing Commission arising from inquiries held on Tuesday, December 3.
Jockey Shane Ellis, who rode Laptop in the tenth race on Saturday, November 16, suspended for three (3) race days for intimidation and interference caused to Titanic, Fantabulous and Mr Luval in the vicinity of the 1600-metre point. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, December 14.
Jockey Robert Halledeen, who rode The Chosen One in the seventh race on Sunday, November, 17, 2013, was cautioned for the interference caused to Cramer’s Rule and Bigman Ting leaving the 500-metre point.
Jockey Renardo McNaughton, who rode Gold Runner in the ninth race on Saturday, November, 16, was fined $6,000.00 for intimidation and interference caused to Apache Gold and LA’s Dancer in the vicinity of the 1200-metre point.
