Kern Spencer trial adjourned, resumes in January
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Kern Spencer trial in the Cuban light bulb saga was adjourned Tuesday morning because of the absence of a witness.
The case will resume on January 7 next year.
Spencer, a former junior energy minister, and his former personal assistant Coleen Wright are on trial for alleged money laundering and illicit enrichment arising from the distribution of energy-saving light bulbs, a gift from the Cuban government.
