Fantasia Barrino slams reports that she’s suicidal
Fantasia Barrino turned to social media on Thursday to refute reports that she was suicidal.
The troubled 29-year-old American Idol winner used Instagram to share a screen grab of headlines claiming she was struggling to cope following her breakup with Antwaun Cook.
Fantasia and Antwaun broke up a year ago after he returned to his estranged wife Paula — and one of the headlines quoted Fantasia as saying ‘her life is over’ because of it.
She flatly denied it in her caption next to the headlines.
“Lol!!! Who keeps this stuff Going?? It’s becoming a Lil questionable lord lord lord. It’s almost been a Year and this is still going on, Lol!!,” she wrote.
“He and I are not together. I’m not going anywhere so stop trying to make me Dead.. Lmao!!! I’m just getting started,” she added.
The singer has had her ups and downs since winning American Idol in 2004.
She lost a battle in April to keep her North Carolina home that had been the subject of foreclosure since 2010.
Fantasia also was accused in court of being a homewrecker and breaking up the marriage of Paula and Antwaun, whom Fantasia had a baby boy with.

Paul Walker’s Fast & Furious 7 character ‘will retire and not be killed off’
When Paul Walker died in a car crash on November 30, he was only halfway through shooting his film The Fast & Furious 7.
For several weeks producers didn’t know what to do with his character Brian O’Connor, who is an integral part of the money-making franchise.
On Friday The Hollywood Reporter claimed a consensus had been reached: Paul’s iconic undercover cop will ‘retire’ and not be killed off, when the movie premieres on April 10, 2015.
“The plan is to “retire” the character in a way that the studio hopes will satisfy fans of the franchise and make use of the existing footage of Walker,” The Reporter wrote.
“In the weeks after the tragedy, director James Wan, writer Chris Morgan, and Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Universal’s lead executive on the Fast films, pored over the footage Wan had shot.
“The trio then devised a plan to tweak the existing script so that Walker would remain a part of the story but could be written out, allowing the franchise to continue without him.”
The Reporter’s Matthew Belloni added: “The changes will require some additional scenes to be written and shot, but the eight-month delay of release provides plenty of time.”
The movie’s studio Universal would not comment on The Reporter’s story.
MailOnline exclusively reported on December 13 that Paul’s younger brother Cody, 25, a stuntman, had been asked to step in to shoot some scenes for the film.

Johnny Depp settles lawsuit
Johnny Depp has reportedly settled his lawsuit with a woman who claims she was tackled by the actor’s bodyguards.
The 50-year-old star, who settled the lawsuit for an undisclosed sum, allegedly did so to finally put an end to the long-running legal battle, reports TMZ.
The incident is said to have occurred in December, 2011, when the woman in question, Robin Eckert, sat next to Depp at an Iggy Pop concert in Los Angeles.
Eckert claims Depp’s bodyguards tore her trousers off and bear-hugged her while restraining her wrists after she allegedly danced too close to the star.
According to the lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, the security men dragged her to the ground, causing her trousers to fall down and so “exposing her buttocks to other Hollywood Palladium Theater patrons,” reported TMZ at the time.
The UC Irvine medical professor claims she suffered bruising, possibly broken bones, and a dislocated elbow. Eckert also claimed the incident caused more damage to her pre-existing spondyloarthritis and fibromyalgia.
Law enforcement told TMZ that Eckert appeared drunk when she filed her report, and her assistant confirmed to the website that she and her party had been drinking during the evening.
