Heidi Klum reveals secrets to her fabulous figure

Heidi Klum shows off her toned abs on the cover of the March issue of Women’s Health.

And she gave the magazine some insight into how she maintains her fabulous physique.

The 40-year-old supermodel admits that while lacking the time to hit the gym regularly, she tries to get as much physical exercise into her daily routine as possible.

Detailing her various methods of staying in shape, Klum said: “If it’s with my kids or we’re going on a hike with the dogs or jumping in the swimming pool, or we have a gigantic trampoline in the backyard.”

“Every once in a while I go on the treadmill, but I don’t love that so much. I like the outdoors a lot.”

The America’s Got Talent judge also loves jogging in New York because she gets inspired by other athletes.

“Especially in New York City. I run on the West Side Highway because I get really inspired when I see other people running,” she said.

“It is packed with people running. If you go every day you recognise people and you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s this person and this person.’

“Everyone kind of comes early in the morning at the same time and they kind of keep me going because if they can do it, I can do it too.”

Perhaps such exercise is more necessary now that her metabolism has changed.

“The metabolism definitely changes when you turn 40,” Heidi said. “I always thought, That’s not going to happen to me, but it is happening to me.

“If I indulge more, I have to exercise more. I figured out what works for me.

“I’ll eat everything but the pasta and bread. Do I want the pasta? I do. But I choose not to eat it.”

‘I could reach for the stars and more’

Lea Michele might have the late Cory Monteith to partly thank for her current success.

The 27-year-old Glee star revealed that it was her former boyfriend and co-star who encouraged her to achieve her goals in the March issue of Teen Vogue.

Although Cory tragically died six months ago from an accidental drug overdose, Lea can’t seem to stop singing his praises.

“My relationship with Cory made me feel like I could reach for the stars and more,” Lea told Teen Vogue. “He would be like, ‘You’re going to be a pop star.'”

After a lot of hard work in the recording studio, Lea will see the release of her first solo album Louder on February 28.

Lea has been releasing new songs every week on iTunes, and on Tuesday unveiled her latest track What Is Love? to join the previous releases of Battlefield, Louder and Cannonball.

The singer-actress relies on her memories of Cory and the love they shared to give her strength to make her dreams a reality.

When it comes to dating and meeting someone new, Lea isn’t “quite there yet.”

“I’m focusing on my job and taking care of myself,” Lea told the magazine. “Maybe in a little while I’ll be like, ‘What do I want?’ But I’m not quite there yet”.

Zooey Deschanel lays down her fashion rules

She is well-known for her vintage-inspired cutesy sense of style.

And Zooey Deschanel is now passing on some of her fashion wisdom, advising her fans to dress for their figures and, it seems, age.

“Daisy Dukes are not for people over 30. I’m just going to go out on a limb and say that right now,” she tells the March issue of Lucky Magazine.

The 34-year-old New Girl actress puts her fashion credentials down to personal taste and instinct, and claims she doesn’t stick to just one type of style.

“The funny thing is, people think I never break out of this one box,” she tells the magazine. “I like what I like.

“It has nothing to do with trends or being a slave to fashion. Sometimes things will be in style and they’re classic and look great, and sometimes… I think it’s important to recognise when fashion has gone to a place that isn’t cute.”

The star certainly looks stylish, posing for the magazine in a Michael Kors blue and white floral maxi dress in one inside shot, while on the cover she sports a blue and white Derek Lam top and mint green skirt.
