Numero Uno!
It’s another check mark on Jamaican supermodel Jeneil Williams’s fashion bucket list: gracing the pages of the February 2014 edition of international fashion glossy Numéro. “It’s a high fashion magazine that I always wanted to shoot for, so it was great to be able to do this shoot with them,” Williams tells SO when we ring her up in the Big Apple, where she’s readying for designer catwalk presentations of Fashion Week that starts on February 6.
The dreamy, dramatic magazine editorial shot by Txema Yeste, Williams shares, was shot in the Canary Islands where “the black sandy beaches left me speechless.”
The chocolate stunner features the Vere Technical High alum looking ravishing in artsy Gucci, Lanvin, Jean Paul Gaultier, Balenciaga, Dolce and Gabbana, and Fendi.
“The wardrobe for the shoot was amazing,” enthuses the beauty, one long familiar with couture and designer threads. “A lot of the clothing was my style, and I got to work with a great team … everyone was beyond nice. I am really happy how the shoot came out.”
As for her make-up, Williams says “it was great, so my style too, a clean face and dark lips. I am obsessed with gold make up on my face, and we did a fantastic beauty shot.”
