NeNe Leakes’ criminal past

People Post

She is currently entertaining millions of viewers across the homes of America in the family show Dancing With The Stars. So The Real Housewives Of Atlanta personality NeNe Leakes will be disappointed to learn that her criminal past has caught up with her.

But while NeNe has admitted to an early arrest from 1992 recently uncovered by Star Magazine, now MailOnline has revealed two further police mug shots from her past. The shots were taken in a period of two years after her first arrest, which came with one misdemeanour and three felony counts of ‘theft of services’ from a phone company. At the time, NeNe was known by her real name Linnethia Johnson. MailOnline has reached out to NeNe’s representatives who have so far been unavailable for comment. Radar reported that in a plea agreement, NeNe pleaded guilty to ‘all four counts and was put on two years probation and ordered to pay $2,650.

However, the reality television personality was then arrested a further three more times for violating her probation.

NeNe has spoken about her initial arrest in her 2009 autobiography Never Make The Same Mistake Twice. She revealed that she had shoplifted with a friend at a shopping mall. However, she has so far not commented on any further arrests.

Perhaps now — when she is relying on votes from loyal viewers across America — NeNe may come forward and explain herself. It is reported that the 46-year-old star makes $1 million a season for her role on Real Housewives Of Atlanta, one of the highest earners of the show.

Pharrell to launch eco-friendly collection

Pharrell Williams has signed a deal with Adidas.

The Happy hitmaker — who is currently working on a collection for high street brand Uniqlo — is thrilled to have the opportunity to design a collection using eco-friendly Bionic Yarn (a company in which he is an investor) for the sportswear giant, which will debut this summer.

The 40-year-old musician said: “Working with an iconic brand like Adidas is such an incredible opportunity. From the classic tracksuit, to growing up in Virginia wearing Stan Smiths, Adidas has been a staple in my life. Their pieces are timeless. This is an exciting partnership for both me and for Bionic Yarn.”

The collection will be fabricated of Bionic Yarn — a sustainable material that is spun from recycled plastic bottles. Pharrell serves as the company’s ambassador, as well as an investor. The fibres have previously been used in everything from home design, to a limited-edition range of denim for Topshop.

Dirk Schoenberger, Adidas’ sport style division global creative director, added: “I am truly thrilled to work with Pharrell. He is a pop-culture icon who never fails to inspire, not just through his musical talent and craft, but through his many other interests. He is the perfect fit for the multi-faceted company that is Adidas.”

Scott leaves $9-m estate to Jagger

Mick Jagger’s fashion designer girlfriend L’Wren Scott left her entire $9-million estate to the Rolling Stones rocker before taking her own life last week.

Scott, whose remains were cremated on Tuesday following a small, private funeral service in Los Angeles, left a simple will bequeathing all her jewellery, clothing, furniture, cars and other personal effects to ‘Michael Phillip Jagger’.

Jagger and the designer’s estranged family have however come to an agreement to split her ashes between them. Her brother Randall Bambrough, whom Scott had appointed as director of her faltering fashion business in November, has revealed that he plans to take Scott’s ashes to her childhood home in Utah. “She was cremated and I have some of her ashes,” he stated.
