Import Tuner Night for August 16
SKUNK Nation’s Nick Lue has revealed the details for one of the most anticipated automotive events, his annual Import Tuner Night.
Titled Street Tuner Invasion, the event is scheduled for the National Stadium, St Andrew, on August 16.
“The streets are already talking about the event. Everywhere I go I get questioned about the event and everyone is anxious for this year’s staging,” Lue told Auto.
According to Lue, fans can expect the ultimate tuner lifestyle event, packed with entertainment.
The headline feature is the Skunk’d Out Project EG Civic giveaway, in which Skunk Nation will use their collective modification skills to create a one-of-a-kind Honda Civic to be raffled.
“The Project EG tickets will be on sale starting May, but the winner will have to be at the event to collect the car,” explained Lue.
Plans are already afoot to upgrade the manner in which the cars are displayed. There won’t be an international guest, but Skunk Nation has been making waves worldwide and has attracted overseas media. While the entertainment package has yet to be determined, what will make a return is the Ms Skunk Nation contest, which was won last year by Sue-Ann Gordon. The contest is scheduled to start in June.
“There won’t be any major changes, but we learned from last year, so we’ll be incorporating a larger social media weight towards the judging,” said Lue.
