Ex Reggae Boy Marlon King gets 18 months for dangerous driving
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Former Reggae Boy and English League footballer Marlon King has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for dangerous driving, according to reports in the British press.
King today pleaded guilty to the offence at Nottingham Crown Court.
The court heard that 34-year-old King was driving a Porsche Panamera on the A46 in Nottinghamshire April last year when he caused an accident, resulting in a motorist suffering a broken arm in a three-car crash.
The former Jamaican striker is now without a club after he was released by Sheffield United last December.
