GIrls’ night out with Mary Kay

Under The Dryer

Stuffed on Mother’s Day brunch bites early in the day, your Under The Dryer team took our Sunday evening social activities over to Ribbiz Bar & Lounge for the ‘Royal Mothers’ event where the iconic door-to-door cosmetic brand Mary Kay was doling out makeovers to the lovely ladies sipping on Cinzano sparkling wine and Baileys Irish Cream, courtesy of J Wray & Nephew and Diageo, respectively, as their day winds down. Despite the night’s languid atmosphere, Shaneke Williams, independent beauty consultant at Mary Kay, jumps into action as she employs the extensive line of the catalogue’s products to take our ladies from day to night with skilled ease and flourish.

MARSHA’S VERDICT

“I loved my make-up. The Mary Kay foundation felt good on my face and Shaneke did a fabulous job. I liked how the colours accentuated my eyes and the Mary Kay Frosted Rose is my new favourite lip colour. I felt comfortable that I could wear this look any day of the week. After an easy day chilling with Christian (my five year-old-son) this was a really nice mommy makeover. Beautiful make-up and a glass of Bailey’s — sweet indulgence.”
