Toyotathon now on
TOYOTA Jamaica, local dealer for Toyota vehicles, began its Toyotathon sales event last week Saturday in Mandeville, Manchester. The annual promotion will run until July.
“We had a nice turnout despite the rain. Significantly, we did good business,” Toyota Jamaica’s Tracy-Ann Fletcher told Auto.
For this year, the three-month promotion will run its three location visits in reverse.
“Normally, we would have started in Kingston. But we decided to mix things up a bit and open the Toyotathon in Mandeville,” Fletcher said.
The next staging in June will be held in Montego Bay, and then close in July at Kingston.
Toyota Jamaica is offering drastically reduced prices on several models, along with special rates through participating Toyotathon financial institutions.
“For 2014, we’ve expanded beyond just having the financial institutions with us. For further customer convenience, we’ve added several insurance partners to each event and a vehicle-tracking systems supplier,” Fletcher explained.
Fletcher added that the new Corolla is doing well, while SUV-crazy Jamaica continues to enjoy the RA4V.
