Beat the summer boredom: Part 1
The holiday periods are always the time of year when things get really boring. Do you want to change that this summer? Well teenAGE has your back, this week we are hitting you up with some ideas that might help you avoid the fast-approaching train of boredom.
HOW TO BEAT BOREDOM OVER THE SUMMER PART ONE
1 Learn a new hobby
There are a lot of things you are yet to learn, use this time to learn or do something new, if not a few things. Here are some suggestions: learn how to dance or how to sew, read a book, or develop a skill.
2 Play a sport.
Keeping yourself physically active is one of the best ways to avoid being bored. Do your research, learn more about the sport you like or look up a sport you think you will enjoy. The summer is the best time to go out and play.
3 Attend local events and TUN IT UP UP UP
Attend festivals, parties or any other fun events. A good way to spend your summer is by attending events with friends, meeting new ones and making new experiences.
4 Go out!
Visit somewhere with your family or friends. Go somewhere that you have always wanted to visit. If your list is non-existent, that’s okay you can make one now. Whether it includes restaurants or sight seeing, if not both, it is pretty much up to you.
5 Get a summer job
Use this opportunity to make money. If you cannot find a job that pays, that is okay. If you wish you can help out a friend or become a volunteer assistant.
