Miss JA World for Flow
MISS Jamaica World 2014 coronation show will be televised live on Flow TV (100) channel from the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St James on
July 12.
The Miss Jamaica World pageant is one of the country’s premier beauty pageants.
Michael Look-Tong, operations director, Media Services at Flow, said that
in its inaugural presentation package for the event, Flow will be leveraging the power of its diverse media platforms to provide multiple exposures.
“In addition to a dedicated 24-7 Miss Jamaica World mosaic channel, we will be promoting the telecast on our suite of international cable channels, including E! Lifetime, ESPN, CNN and others,” he said.
Additionally, there will
be promotional placements on Flow’s interactive programme guide which he said will deliver 115 million impressions each month, thus providing a boon for the event sponsors as well as other advertisers.
Last year, Miss Jamaica World Gina Hargitay went on to place in the top 10 in the Miss World contest in Bali, Indonesia, and also took the Miss World Caribbean crown.
Since launching in Jamaica in 2006, Flow has been robustly developing local content for the Flow TV (100) channel, including original series Squaddie, Cabbie Chronicles and business/investment advisory magazine Financially Focused.
