SINGJAY Loyal Flames’ new song, Go Hard, is the artiste’s latest attempt to make a name in the European market.

Go Hard was produced by the British Maximum Sound label. Its release coincides with his recent performance at the Reggae Jam Festival in Germany.

“Germany was a great experience for me. The fans showed a lot of love and we are thankful for that,” said Loyal Flames.

He is featured on German producers Silly Walks Discotheque’s new project, the Brighter Days ‘riddim’. His song is Break Free.

Born Devar Oliver Stennette in St Catherine, Loyal Flames honed his skills performing with the youth choir at Sandy Ground Baptist Church.

After graduating from Central High School in Clarendon, he went straight into secular music.

His previous songs include Pagan, Keep Focus, In this Time, Can’t Reap and Nowhere to Turn.

Loyal Flames is booked to perform on Reggae on The River in Tobago on August 23.

Gyptian aims for the heart

Gyptian is back with Dagger Thru My Heart, a song which was recorded three years ago. It is released

by Donsome Records LLC/Shadyhill.

Donsome has collaborated with the singer on a number of songs including Certified Lover, Mama Bawl and Stock and Pile.

According to a label spokesperson, “We felt the timing was right to release the track. Working with Gyptian has always been fun for us. We always bring out a side of Gyptian in our productions that no other producer has been able to.”

Donsome is preparing to release singer Rage’s EP as well as the compilation, Ghetto Corner Stone Vol 1

Hot Boy on Billboard

Rapper Bobby Shmurda has entered the Billboard charts with the hit song Hot Nigga (renamed Hot Boy).

Shmurda, who was born in Florida to a Jamaican father and Trinidadian mother, got involved in music when he moved to New York City as a pre-teen.

Hot Boy owes much of its popularity to the Shmoney Dance which has endeared Shmurda to a number of top hip hop and R&B acts.

Hot Boy is number 21 on the Billboard Rap Digital Singles chart, number 20 on its R&B Hip Hop Songs chart, and number 72 on the Hot 100.

Shmurda recently signed with Epic Records.
