COUVA, Trinidad & Tobago — Jamaica moved to six points in Group A of the Women’s Caribbean Cup after trouncing Bermuda 9-1 at the Ato Boldon Stadium yesterday.

Talismanic striker Shakira Duncan, who scored twice against Puerto Rico on Tuesday, fired four against the hapless Bermuda team in minutes 32, 45, 47 and 76 as the Jamaicans dominated from start to finish in front of a handful of spectators at the venue.

Midfielder Donna-Kay Henry scored twice in the fifth minute and the second minute of injury time, while captain Alicia Wilson (28th), substitute Venicia Reid (79th) and an own goal from Bermuda’s Keunna Dill rounded out the Jamaica scoring.

Shuntae Todd notched the consolation goal for Bermuda in the 70th minute.

At half-time in the second game of the double-header, Haiti were leading Puerto Rico 1-0.

Jamaica face the Haitians tomorrow to decide the Group A winners.
