Hair in a Bundle!

Take Style Out (TSO) has got you covered from head to toe — everything you need to get glammed up will be discounted at participating locations islandwide on Thursday, October 2nd — leaving you with enough cash to go out the Friday after in your brand-new attire. Ahead of the big night, Under the Dryer’s got the scoop on where you can find the finest quality, 100% virgin hair on sale during our one-night-only event in both Kingston and Montego Bay!

Where…

Glitzzy Hair

The US-based franchise boasts three stores across the state of New York and is quickly taking over The Rock with two locations on each end of the island for your convenience. Glitzzy Hair offers the highest quality hair you can find in 100% virgin hair varieties such as Brazilian, Peruvian and Malaysian. Glitzzy Hair will be offering discounts on Thursday, October 2nd, starting at 5:00 pm and ending at 10:00 pm, at its stores in Kingston and Montego Bay. Check out what five Glitzzy customers had to tell Under the Dryer about their favourite hair type on sale for TSO and what they love most about it.

KINGSTON:

Shop #6 Bargain Mall

Clock Tower Plaza

88 Half-Way-Tree Road

Kingston 10

876.631.6375

MONTEGO BAY:

Shop #54

City Centre Building

Montego Bay, St James

876.630.4863/630.4176

Take Style Out Sale:

Get 10% off all lengths and enjoy bundle deals: get up to four bundles at a time per special, depending on the length. Glitzzy Hair recommends using a total of three bundles at a time but increasing to four bundles or more as you increase the length for a bouncier, fuller, glam-girl look.

Malaysian Natural Wave

“The Malaysian Natural Wave has a natural curl, but I love adding extra curls because it holds the shape of the curl very quickly. Even though the hair’s been bleached to be colour-treated, it’s still soft. Nothing was taken away from the quality when it was coloured. I’m wearing four bundles of Malaysian Natural Wave but it still feels light and comfortable. It’s not stiff; I can move it around. It just feels like my natural hair.”

– Kalila Anderson, publicist and booking agent, wearing colour-treated Malaysian Natural Wave in 22″, 24″, 26″ and 28″ bundles.

Brazilian Body Wave

“The Brazilian Body Wave is durable and soft. The natural curl pattern in it remains even after you straighten the hair; after washing, it goes right back to being curly. It won’t shed. The key is to treat like your natural hair and you will benefit in the long run.”

– Nancy Evans, make-up artist at Blacklace Makeup Studio in Portmore/Administrative assistant at Bank of Jamaica, wearing the Malaysian Natural Wave in 14″, 16″, 20″ and 22″ bundles.

Russian Body Wave

“I’ve had my Russian Body Wave for seven months! The texture is lovely; it doesn’t tangle at all or shed. It’s super durable as long as you wash and condition with the correct products (I use Suave). You shouldn’t use too much oil, as it’ll kill the natural look of the hair. The less oil you use the more natural it’ll look and the more beauty you will get out of it. So if you want sheer, only use argan oil. Just apply a little on your hand, rub together and then spread evenly throughout hair. I have nothing negative to say about this hair; it’s great and I get a lot of compliments about it. Even on a bad hair day where your natural hair needs to be touched up or relaxed, the hair itself will stand out and make you look beautiful.”

-Shana Bennett, entrepreneur, has been wearing six bundles (12″, 16″, 18″, 22″, 24″ and 26″) of Russian Body Wave for seven months, only removing to tend to her natural hair.

Filipino Curly

“It’s so bouncy! I really like how bouncy the Filipino Curly is. It makes my face stand out and makes me look more mature. This was my first time putting in hair and having curls and I love it.”

–Terri-Mae Neil, student at Quality Academics, wearing the Filipino Curly in 20″, 22″, 24″and 26″ bundles.

Peruvian Straight

“The Peruvian Straight is very good quality. It doesn’t tangle easily and takes colour very well. The length makes me feel beautiful. Some hair will get dry after washing and colouring it but not this one, the softness remains the same. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy hair.”

Entrepreneur Rabia Danne is wearing the Peruvian Straight in 20″, 22″, 24″ and 26″.

Shana
Bennett,
entrepreneur, has
been wearing six
bundles (12”, 16”,
18”, 22”, 24” and
26”) of Russian
Body Wave for
seven months, only
removing to tend
to her natural hair.
