Richie Spice added to Cecil’s show
CULTURAL singer Richie Spice has been added to the line-up of acts performing on the second annual Sea Food Buffet and Cabaret show at Cecil’s Restaurant and Lounge in Spanish Town on Saturday.
“Although we are catering mainly to a mature audience, we have now included singer Richie Spice to add some variety to the musical recipe to match the variety of tasty delights on the buffet,” Mark Miller, manager of Cecil’s Restaurant and Lounge, told the Jamaica Observer.
Also slated to perform are veteran reggae singer Dennis Walks and singer-songwriter Benjy Myaz.
“We want our customers to enjoy some retro music blended with fine foods in a family-friendly atmosphere,” Miller added.
The artistes will be backed by King FI-DEM Band, while the evening’s emcee is Christopher ‘Johnny’ Daley .
Richie Spice is known for hits songs as well for his benevolence.
Earth a Run Red, Brown Skin, Groovin My Girl, and The Plane Land are a few of his chart busters.
He recently donated a deep freezer to the Galilee Early Childhood Development Centre at Rodney Road (off Maxfield Avenue) and contributed to other schools, including Rock Hall All-Age in his hometown of Rock Hall, St Andrew.
