PHOTOS: Emily weds Mark

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Popular media personality and lawyer, Emily Crooks tied the knot with former Deputy Commissioner of Police Mark Shields at the upscale Round Hill Resort overlooking the Caribbean sea a short while ago.

The bride was escorted up the aisle by her father Desrick Crooks while her expectant groom stood at the altar with Rev Terrence Gordon.

Members of the bridal party included maid of honour Dr Paula Dawson while the couple’s daughter Zuri Shields was the flower girl.

Bridesmaids were Kimm Daley and Andria Crooks-Nelson.

Standing for the groom were John Azar, Michael Meggs, Kimani Robinson, Michael Toy and the groom’s son Nicholas Shields.

Among the guests were Hugh Small QC; former Police Commissioner Hardley Lewin; international banker Aubyn Hill; Nationwide CEO/ Broadcaster Cliff Hughes; broadcast journalist Abka Fitz-Henley; regional head of Business Risk at Digicel, Joseph Simmonds; MVP Track Club boss, Bruce James; JCSC member, Carol Narcisse; and Digicel Jamaica CEO, Barry O’Brien.
