Night #3 of the week-long Jamaica Observer Salut! Wine and Champagne celebration, sponsored by Scotiabank, checked into The Regency Bar & Lounge at Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel last Wednesday evening.

Betco Premier was in the starring role as the night’s wine purveyor, pouring from its impressive arsenal of wine varietals that included its Terra Nova-branded Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Chardonnay.

Joined by Terra Nova’s general manager Michelle Hussey and acting food and beverage manager Nancy McLean, the trifecta of Betco’s managing director Sharon Graham, sales and marketing director Fabian Graham and brand manager Jhannel Townsend entertained wine enthusiasts on the bar’s recently renovated and extended patio for a delightful evening of wine pairings with the chic hotel’s magnificent fare.

Guests were offered glasses of Freixenet, paired with cherry tomatoes and caprese picks and sorrel chutney cheese balls rolled in pistachio nuts.

The night progressed with the three Terra Nova-branded varietals, Sauvignon Blanc (paired with shrimp quesadillas), Chardonnay (offered with miniature pumpkin cups filled with risotto) and Merlot (coupled with grilled tenderloin skewers with blue cheese dipping sauce and Béarnaise sauce) and concluded with an overview of the Italian-made Caposaldo wine varietals.
