Francesco Totti enhanced his record as the oldest scorer in the Champions League, the striker netting for Roma in their 1-1 draw at CSKA Moscow on Tuesday, at the age of 38 years, one month and 29 days.
The Roma talisman initially entered the competition’s history books on September 30, three days after turning 38, in his Serie A side’s 1-1 draw at Manchester City.
That goal from the former Italian international broke a record previously held by former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs.
Giggs was aged 37 and 289 days when he scored in a 1-1 draw away to Benfica in September 2011.
