Ready for the road
AFTER three years of restorative work, Bob Marley’s iconic 1976 Land Rover series III will be making its way “from the cold”.
The task of restoring the classic to its former glory was entrusted to ATL Automotive, authorised dealers of the Jaguar/Land Rover brands.
The vehicle’s itinerary includes a soft unveiling at the Nexus Summit being held at the Half Moon Hotel in Montego Bay, St James, on Thursday, February 5.
The following day, Marley’s birthday, the Land Rover is scheduled to make its way to the Marley’s Museum on Old Hope Road for a public unveiling.
On Saturday, February 7, the classic will be on show at Digicel Concert to be held at the Waterfront in downtown Kingston. Several members of the Marley family are slated to performance.
