iLIKES

5 Just for the sheer novelty of seeing it again, Derrick Rose doing Derrick Rose things makes it onto the reel this week. In the half-court set Rose beat his defender off the pick before showing off his handles and giving that typical hesitation followed by a hop-step and fancy lay-up to bamboozle the Hawks defence in the way he is known for.

4 For merit alone, D-Rose makes it onto the iLike reel again. As Jeff Teague barrelled down on him, Rose simply evaded him with a quick spin before faking the pass to Jimmy Butler, taking a step and then actually giving the no-look dish to Butler for the jumper.

3 With one minute left in a close game against the Lakers, Damian Lillard called for the isolation on Ronnie Price before simply burning the veteran guard for pace and going up strong to slam it in traffic as the defence tried to collapse.

2 Victor Oladipo gave a throwback to last year to secure a win against the Rockets this week. On the breakaway, the sophomore guard threw down a fancy 360 dunk with 40 seconds left on the clock, to a raucous reaction from his bench.

1 Swift and dynamic wins the race… at least if it’s Steph Curry. The point guard showed hustle first of all to block Houston Rockets’ attempted outlet pass before swinging the rock backwards, with a touch pass as he ran away from the basket to set up Harrison Barnes for the dunk.
