Prizes for western football fans
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Patrons at ATL/Sandals St James Football Association’s Senior League and Division One Friday night games could go home with prizes, according to president Gregory Daley.
The season is due to kick off next Friday with a triple-header at
Jarrett Park with two Senior League games and one Division One game.
Daley said they expect to create a “carnival-like atmosphere on Friday nights”, but said the giveaways would not be every week but “once a month or so”.
Promoted Marl Road and Reggae Youths will meet in the opening game, a Senior League encounter set to start at 3:00 pm, followed by a Division One game between Faulkland and Seaview with another Senior League game, Heights FC and Lilliput Rovers, meeting in the third game.
Sandals and the ATL Group have expanded their involvement in the St James FA, increasing their sponsorship of the Senior League while taking over the sponsorship of the Division One competition.
