Who Knows

Chronixx and Protoje score Best Collab

Various music artistes combined in 2014 to provide Jamaica, and by extension the music world, with some lyrical gems.

Notable mention must be given to Rockstone by Stephen Marley featuring Capleton and Sizzla.

Indeed, the fiery lyrics from Capleton and Kalonji’s flowing tune certainly added to the success of Marley’s hit.

The hit of the year, however, comes from a younger generation of roots/reggae movers.

Chronixx and Protoje continue to carry on the baton and the two worked together to release the single Who Knows.

The collaboration was highly successful with rave reviews, topping charts and over four million YouTube views signalling its success.

The single combines the seamless melodies of Chronixx, which is highlighted in the chorous, with the soulful lyrics of Protoje.

The single was produced by Winta James (Overstand Entertainment) in partnership with InDiggNation.

The main theme of the song is to live life in peace despite the uncertainty and various challenges that one may encounter.
