PCL: Guyana progress to 188 for 6 against Ja at tea
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Guyana Jaguars progressed to 188-6 at tea against Jamaica Franchise on the opening day in the Professional Cricket League four-day match at Sabina Park in Kingston, Friday.
However, play could be delayed for some time as afternoon showers pelted the ground during the break.
Wicketkeeper/batsman Anthony Bramble is not out on 28, while Veerasammy Permaul is unbeaten on 12.
Captain Leon Johnson has top-scored with 41 so far. Champion batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul made 29 before he was bowled out.
Wrist spinners Damion Jacobs and the recently recalled Odean Brown have taken two wickets each.
