DANCEHALL duo RDX are showing their versatility on their reggae-inspired single Why Do Men Cheat. The recently released track is produced by CR203 Records and is on ZJ Chrome’s Dancehall Sings Riddim.

Group member Renigade said he’s expecting the single to open them up to a new audience as well as ignite debate on an age old question about men.

“The lyrics are pretty deep, so we hope this track can stir the thoughts as well as answer a few questions as it relates to relationships and maybe ask a few more,” said Renigade.

Delomar sees it as a pivotal step in the direction of a more diverse RDX.

“RDX is not synonymous with reggae, which makes this all the more intriguing. We are sure just the mere curiosity of what RDX has to say on a reggae riddim will pull many to listen to this track. So imagine if we were to release our Reggae Album?,” he asked.

Reggae-inspired singles will continue to be a part of RDX’s future and precede the release of the Soul Poetry Reggae Album later this year.

For the rest of the year, the duo said they will make forays into other music forms. Their EDM-inspired Loud (collaboration with Orange Hill Productions) is also gaining momentum with the release of the video. The group has also released the music video for their girls anthem Bend Back.
