Western Conference
Harrison Barnes proceed a magical game winner with .04 seconds left to give Golden State their 62nd win for the season. This came after a hard fought 107 – 105 victory over the Phoenix Suns (38-38). As expected, Steph Curry was the top performer for the game with 28 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Houston Rockets (52-24) produced a close 108-101 win over the Mavericks (46-30). Trevor Ariza was the man in charge for the Rockets as he copped 19 points, six rebounds and six assists.
LA Clippers (51-26) dispatched the Nuggets easily with a 107-92 win. Chris Paul was a top performer with 23 points, five rebounds and nine assists.
The Portland Trailblazers (49-26) made light work of bottom placed LA Lakers in a 107-77 win. CJ Mcollum gave his team 27 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Eastern Conference
The Pistons (30-47) produced a late rally to defeat Miami Heat (34-42). Reggie Jackson had a solid 29 points, three rebounds and 11 assists for his team. The loss leaves Miami out of the play-offs with seven games to go.
The Pacers (33-43) got, what could be, a crucial 93-74 win over the Hornets (32-43) on Friday. With that they could push for the final spot for the eastern play-offs.
Washington Wizards (43-33) won convincingly 101-87 to bottom placed New York Knicks(14-62). They are now within touching distance of the Toronto Raptors (45-32) since they lost to the Brooklyn Nets (35-41) in a 114-109 score.
The Atlanta Hawks (57-19) continue to lead the Eastern Conference with a solid 131-99 trouncing of the Brooklyn Nets. DeMarre Caroll got 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Hawks.
