10 Things I Bet You Never Knew

Aside from what is considered “need to know” information, the average person is oftentimes unaware of certain facts and realities that exist in the world around them and beyond.  As such, they are often shocked at the revelation of some new, interesting and in some cases, strange information. Here’s a look at 10 interesting facts you probably never knew. Let’s see if we can surprise you!

1   There is a World Toe Wrestling Championship held annually in England dating back to the 1970’s.

2   The King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley failed music class in high school.

3    Most lipsticks contain fish scales.

4   Russia has a larger surface than Pluto.

5   Oxford University is older than the primitive Aztec empire.

6   Months that begin on a Sunday will always have a Friday the 13th.

7   Ketchup, which we enjoy today as a sauce, was once sold in the 1830’s as medicine.

8   Chewing gum while peeling Onions will keep you from ‘crying’.

9   What is called a ‘French kiss’ in the English-speaking world, is known as an ‘English kiss’ in France.
