Quest Prep captures Scotiabank/(JCA) Prep School Cricket title
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Quest Preparatory School were crowned Scotiabank/Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) Prep School Cricket National champions for the first time after defeating Hydel Preparatory by 10 runs in the final at the Lucas Cricket Club today.
With 107 runs from extras and a topscore of 18 from Jahiem Rose, Quest, who won the toss and batted, amassed 131-5 from their allotted 25 overs.
In reply, Andre Brugess took 3-15 and Rose chipped in with 2-29 as Hydel were bowled out for 121 in 24.1 overs.
Najair Byfield and Nevaun Lindo both scored 13 runs each for Hydel.
