Shift Dresses

Hey there teen fashionistas. It was Coco Chanel who once said, “A girl should be two things; classy and fabulous”, and I couldn’t agree more. We should strive for elegance and class while still making statements wherever we go. And where do we turn to for all this to happen? The trends, of course!

One trend that has been ‘slaying’ since spring, and is in no hurry to stop is the shift dress. This trend is fun, flirty and has an understated elegance, perfect to be taken Off The Rack and into your closet.

Shift dresses are a soft, comfortable and an effortless look fit for summer. It is a trend that fits any figure and is quite ageless too.

Shift dresses can be worn at any time of the day and for any occasion. This depends on the type shift dress you pulled off the rack, of course.

These dresses vary from over-sized T-shirt dresses, to flirty evening wear of chiffon materials. Also these can be paired with almost any accessories and shoes, and are even DIYs if you have good designing skills.

A tip in wearing shift dresses is that they are to be free-flowing and not body-hugging; so if your shift dress fits you like a bodycon dress, please return it to the rack and grab a bigger size!
