Minions are naturally fun!

Capri-Sun to host movie screening of Minions film

What’s small, yellow, adorable and loves bananas? Yep, you guessed right- minions! We have fallen in love with the sensitive little creatures from the Despicable Me movie franchise, and now they’ll have their own starring roles.

This summer, the minions will embark on a journey to serve the most despicable monster. Stuart, Kevin and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain, who alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.

On Sunday (July 11), the Minions will be exclusively screened at the Carib 5 cinema by Capri-Sun, so naturally it will be fun. Over 500 patrons are expected to be in attendance, with many gaining access through the recently-concluded Capri-Sun Naturally Fun! Minions Summer 2015 competition. The competition ran from May to July, which the purchase of Capri-Sun products integral in the entry process. The grand draw was done on July 8, with Nicki Franklin, Hazel Black Whyte and Shonoya Lee emerging as winners. They all got tickets for themselves and 10 others to attend the screening.

Though the movie lasts for just over an hour, Capri-Sun has an entire fun-filled afternoon planned. Vibrant media personality Jenny Jenny will be on the scene as host, providing entertainment and interacting with the anticipated turn-out.

As it relates to activities, patrons will have the opportunity to get a minion or two painted on their face, and then take a picture of it in the instant photo booth. A gyroscope will also be there for the thrill seekers who like to be twirled around in the air.

Also, patrons will be sure to not leave their phones at home, as selfie-sticks will be on-hand. They will all have the opportunity to get featured on the plasma screens once they upload the photos to Instagram using the hashtags for the event. These are: #CapriSunMinions #ObserverMinions #DigicelMinions #CheeriosMinions
