St Thomas crash leaves one dead

KINGSTON, Jamaica – A man died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision on the Springfield main road in St Thomas on Monday.

Dead is 42-year-old Michael Williams of a Morant Bay address in the parish.

Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that about 4:30 pm, Williams was driving his red Toyota Altis motor car in the opposite direction of a National Bakery truck when the two collided.

Williams along with the driver of the truck and its occupants were rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead and the others admitted in stable condition.
