Hottraxx

A compilation of this week’s hottest songs

Salute TeenAtion music fans, so it’s getting closer and closer to back to school time which means that summer is almost over (sad face), it’s been an awesome summer so far and we still have about two maybe three weeks left so be sure to make the most of it, rest up, go to the beach if you haven’t, finish those projects that you promised you would have started from June, all that good stuff. Now to the matter at hand, get ready to dust off your headphones and update your playlist because it’s time for your weekly dose of the Top 10 local and international songs in this week’s Hottraxx. Now the lists:Local List1 Leggo– Konshens- Holding down the first place spot for the local list this week is Konshens with Leggo. Konshens recently performed at  a festival in the Virgin Islands along with Romain Virgo, and the dancehall superstar was considered to be one of the best performances of the night, only outdone by soca princess Destra.2 Ghetto People– Chronixx- In second place this week is Chronixx with Ghetto People. Chronixx is currently leading the list of nominees for this year’s International Reggae and World Music Awards; Chronixx currently leads with a total of seven nominations. The winners will be announced at the star-studded event on October 4.3 Sad Bad– Tifa ft Chino-  a wah do D-E-M, in the third place spot this week is Tifa with another killer collab Sad Ba. The song featuring Chino speaks about how some men take a bad girl and make them wives….sounds like some word throwing to me.  4 Stop Follow Me Up– Vybz Kartel-Slipping into fourth place this week is Vybz Kartel with Stop Follow Me Up.5 Ghetto Life– I Octane- rounding out our top five this week is I Octane with Ghetto Life, I wonder if Chronixx got the inspiration for his hit from Octane… hmmm well you what they say about great minds.6 Up– Alkaline7 No Man To Mi Spliff– Aidonia8 Party– Vybz Kartel9 Money Plan– Konshens10 My League– MovadoInternational List1 Drag Me Down– One Direction- Holding onto the #1 spot this week is British boy band sensation, One Direction. 1D fans all over the world are still going mad for the recently track so much so that it is now third on the Billboard hot 100 list only one week after its release.
