Sri Lanka win toss, batting vs West Indies – 1st day, 2nd Test
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (CMC) – Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat on the opening day of the second and final Test against West Indies at the P Sara Oval here Thursday.
The hosts have made two changes to their XI from the first Test in Galle, including uncapped batsman Kusal Mendis and Dilruwan Perera for Lahiru Thirimanne and Tharindu Kaushal.
West Indies, meanwhile, have made just one change, bringing in debutant left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican for fast bowler Shannon Gabriel.
The Caribbean side trail the two-match series 1-0 after going down by an innings and six runs inside four days in the first Test in Galle last week.
