The Queen’s start well in ISSA urban netball
DEFENDING champions The Queen’s School easily defeated first-timers St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) 33-16 as the second round of the 2015 Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) Urban High Schoolgirls netball competition got under way at the Leila Robinson Courts at Independence Park Sports Complex last Thursday.
The Queen’s, coached by Marvette Anderson, are currently one of the unbeaten teams in the Senior League competition and should be hard to beat again this season.
However, in the Juniors second- round action, The Queen’s, who are the defending champions and also the All-Island champions, did not fare so well as they played to an exciting 24-24 draw with Camperdown High.
