Large turnout for JN Loan-A- Palooza in Ocho Rios
A large crowd was in attendance at the Jamaica National Loan-A-Palooza at the Turtle River park in Ocho Rios last month where the event afforded customers the opportunity to access small business loans as well as a myriad of other services being offered by the financial institution
Gavin Beckford, marketing and brand management executive at Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS), in a release said the JN Loan-A-Palooza fair facilitated the opening of savings and investment accounts; and provide on-the-spot approval of business and personal loans.
In this economic climate, where disposable funds are limited for many, Beckford said the aim was to present persons with innovative savings opportunities; and assistance with financing their immediate goals.
“We want more people to understand and appreciate the options that are available to them,” Beckford said.
It was not only about processing loans, but JN displayed booths with several companies including the Jamaica Public Service, Singer, ATL Automotive, Irie FM, Toyota Jamaica, among others. A number of information sessions were also hosted by the JN Small Business Loans and other entities.
It was not all about business; there was an exciting entertainment package for the crowd. Ity and Fancy Cat kept the audience alive with numerous jokes, competitions and give-aways. A live performance by Tifa and several local acts closed off the day’s activities. While the adults conducted business and gathered information, the children were kept entertained at a kiddies village at the park.
