Educator Donovan Isaacs to represent PNP in St Andrew North Western
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Educator Donovan Isaacs has been named as the People’s National Party’s (PNP) candidate for St Andrew North Western for upcoming parliamentary elections.
Isaacs is seeking to unseat Jamaica Labour Party veteran Derrick Smith, the Opposition’s spokesman on security, who has been at the helm of the constituency for 26 years.
The four-month caretaker said he is seeking to save St Andrew North Western constituents from “ineffective representation; years of under-development; lack of job and training opportunities for people; lots of talk but little action; unclear expectations, and poor people skills”.
Isaacs is the owner of St Andrew College in Cross Roads, St Andrew where he is also a teacher.
