Thanksgiving Jamaican Style
Thanksgiving was celebrated in glorious Jamaican style last week Thursday at Hylton’s Beach, Yallahs, St Thomas. The hostess – Carmen Brown-Morrow, the grande dame of style and proprietor of Karmen’s Collection and FurnitureLand.
The day, easy like Sunday morning, gave Brown-Morrow the opportunity to fellowship with her devoted staff, customers, family and friends in a gorgeous setting. Naturally there was turkey marinated and stuffed with the distinct flavours of ‘yard’. There was too, a celebratory cake for as the lady of the hour surmised ‘How many people can say that they’ve been in business for 35 years?” No disputing that Carmen. Cheers to another 35.
